Maiden To Mother Birth

Hello one and all!  I'm Anna, a traditional Birth Doula with experience serving mothers around the country. I've seen firsthand the difference education can make in a birth story. My highest goal is for the mother to feel empowered, heard, and respected during her birth. Because you may not remember every detail, but you will remember how you felt.  Birth works best when mothers are HONORED.

My Mission and Vision For You:

As a birth doula, I provide childbirth education for you and your primary support partner, labor prep exercises, birth planning, text and call availability your whole pregnancy and I go on-call for your birth at 38 weeks gestation. I provide hands-on labor support with comfort measures, help with decision making, and advocacy. I also help postpartum with recovery and breastfeeding.

I believe that education is extremely impactful, but I also seek to help you find your voice and listen to your intuition. You are the best expert on your body and your baby. I provide empowerment though education and physical support in birth, & I can help elevate your voice in the labor room but at the end of the day by biggest goal is that you feel confident enough to take radical responsibility for your birth. I can't wait to support you on your journey from Maiden to Mother!

It is with the deepest sincerity that I recommend Anna, who served as the doula for the birth of my granddaughter. During the most intense phase of labor [options were presented]. This is precisely where Anna's expertise shone. She immediately and professionally intervened , slowing down the conversation and providing a calm, reassuring presence. She firmly advocated for my daughter, ensuring that we understood our rights and guaranteeing we would not proceed with any intervention we were uncomfortable with. When it was discovered the baby had flipped, Anna was prepared with solutions. Even after my daughter received an epidural, Anna immediately got to work, leading my daughter through specific exercises and stretches. She even came prepared with **literal furniture** and tools to aid in comfort and positioning. Her preparedness and expertise were instrumental in flipping the baby just in time, allowing us to proceed as safely as possible.

 She maintained her positive energy, professional demeanor, and my daughter's overall vibration and comfort as her highest priority. Her use of essential oils, fun lighting, and great conversation created an atmosphere that was calming and focused.

The support extended far beyond the delivery room. The prenatal education was monumental, providing my daughter with the knowledge to make informed decisions. The postnatal reassurance was groundbreaking for both my daughter and for me, helping us navigate those tender first few days. I truly believe our situation and our entire experience would have been completely different **and far more difficult ** had Anna not been there. She has become a friend for life, someone I trust with my heart and soul. Any family considering hiring Anna is making an investment in a genuinely supported, informed, and positive birthing experience.
